CASE STUDY DESCRIPTION:

One of the largest global petroleum companies was experiencing significant problems associated with compressor run time degradation, inconsistent plunger lift operations, and unacceptable BS&W penalties.

Several wells were batched with one drum of 54GO™ 101, followed with a continuous injection system utilizing 4 quarts a day of 54GO™ 101.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

54GO™ 101 Paraffin Dispersant is a liquid organic, surface active chemical formulated for use in oil and gas producing wells to improve their flow characteristics. The product has a unique chemical not found in competitor products allowing 54GO™ to achieve superior results, especially when comparing "slickness" and "residual binding capacity".

CASE STUDY RESULTS:

Production increase: Immediately after the treatments, each well averaged an uplift of 35 million cubic feet (MCF)/day, and 2 barrels of oil (BOD)/day.

Compressor consistency: The compressor run times became far more consistent with weekly checking by lease operators compared to the daily restarting required prior to treatments, driving down maintenance costs significantly.

Plunger consistency: With respect to the plunger systems, they were immediately on a consistent cycle with no intervention from the lease operators.

Reduced BS&W: As a result of the injection of 54GO™ 101, the BS&W penalties were eliminated with the product flowing throughout the surface equipment and into the production tanks, thereby eliminating unnecessary tank activities and penalties for each load of produced oil and condensate.

*These wells are still in production and are injecting 4 quarts/day at a cost of $11/day. As such, additional ROI will be recognized

**Only revenue uplift is being measured. Savings from reduced operating expenses, elongated plunging system lifetime and reduced BS&W not included.

Note: A specific treatment design depends on the severity of the impairment of the production and on the producing well. A typical batch treatment consists of 50 gallons of this product down the annulus. Experience will dictate the optimum quantity of chemical and injection rates.
